I was listening to a radio station in the car, can't remember which station - probably 101.1 or 96.9 in Kuwait. Anyway I was listening to 2 people talking about Second Life and the side effects of playing for very long hours on a game without any rest.

They talked about how this Korean guy, who told his father that he would go camping, went instead to an internet cafe and played Second Life for 5 days straight without any rest. After 5 days people found him dead lying on his chair.

I realize that games and the internet itself can become addictive. If you know anyone who has an internet addiction, you might want to check out the Center for Internet Addiction Recovery 's blog

My TV Broke because of a Wii !!

See that big crack on my Tv? Well, here's how it happened. My little brother was playing a Wii game (Tennis i think) and got so over-excited he was swinging the controller everywhere, then BAM!!!! it hit my hdtv and a big crack appeared.

** Two things to mention:

1) I hate games that over-excite kids.

2) I think the crack is getting bigger.

Review: Panasonic DMC-FX7

Last summer I got this digital camera for me to take pictures of anything and everything really. One thing I can say proudly is that this camera is Superb. Atleast for me it is.

It is a 5 megapixel camera. Not bad indeed if you like taking pictures of things every now and then. Great for normal people. I think its out of the question that professionals will buy these though. They probably need those Nikon - paparazzi style cameras. But for us, the Panasonic will definitely handle our needs well.

Overall, it's nice to have and I'm sure will make a great gift for someone. What I like to be improved is that sometimes the pictures tend to get blurry if you quickly move the camera once you press the button that takes the picture.

Other than that, it's just wonderful. For me, it gets a 4 out of 5 easy.

This is a picture I took by myself. Viewing it in a larger image size will be clearer ofcourse.

What Makes Xbox360 So Good ?

First of all. I will not say that PS3 is a bad/stupid gaming console that nobody should get. I like the looks of PS3 a lot however I never got / played any games on it so I can't give out my opinion on which is better.

So, Whats good about the Xbox360 then:

Xbox Live is Very Nice! You can download high definition movies (even latest movies, like The Prestige and Employee of the Month), high definition TvShows (like SouthPark, CSI, etc), Arcade games, game Demos (very good to download as it saves you a lot instead of buying a game and turning out to be a complete waste of money). The online multiplayer games itself is nice. I really enjoy the fact that I usually do not lag in games like WinningEleven, and that's Great!
Wireless Controllers: Meaning no more stupid wires tied together.
Can have an add-on High-Definition DVD Drive to watch movies
Playing games in high-definition is a MUST!! FullStop. Once you get used to playing in high-definition, there's no going back.

There's a lot more to say about the Xbox360 however I think there is room for improvement like a larger harddrive since 20Gb is not enough.

Review: ROCKY BALBOA

Just saw Rocky Balboa in the cinema. The truth is I didn't expect something THAT big to happen. Many people told me the movie wasn't worth watching even at home by buying a DVD. However, what I can say is that this was not the best movie for Rocky. The best ever was Rocky 4, without thinking twice.

Should you see it ? Well if you are a true fan of Rocky / Sylvester Stallone than you should see it, otherwise don't. Not much has been cut in the cinema from the movie so its alright to see it in the cinema. Overall, a 3.5/5 for the movie. Could have been done better. Had the potential to. Just think it was a bit rushed.
